I'm Vesta!
I'm a Lithuanian coach and teacher, passionate about helping people speak Lithuanian fluently and confidently. I like to think of myself as a "language alchemist", turning mistakes into learning opportunities and silencing that inner critic that gets in the way.
As I worked with more students, I started to see that it wasn’t just about grammar and conversation. The real challenge was the anxiety around speaking. So, I shifted my focus to help students practice real-life phrases and questions, reflect on situations where they felt confident (and where they didn’t), and create a plan for how to approach those moments better next time.
My learning language journey began when I was 8 or 9, during a phone conversation with a native English speaker. I barely understood him and had to count out loud just to tell him my age! Fast forward to 2009, I moved to the UK for higher education and quickly realized I had to step out of my comfort zone to really connect with people.
After 14 years in the UK, I've learned that mastering a language isn't just about grammar, it's about managing emotions, embracing mistakes, and just going for it!
