I specialize in a retro, cartoony style full of alien characters and bold pinup art that playfully exaggerates anatomy.
I grew up inspired by shows like Ben 10, Justice League Unlimited, Green Lantern: The Animated Series, and G1 Transformers, which shaped my love for strong, expressive shape design. I later graduated from Vancouver Film School in 2024, where I built a solid foundation in anatomy and structure.
But honestly, the traditional way of learning anatomy always felt boring and limiting to me. Even after art school, my work felt stiff, and I fell out of love with drawing for a while. So I went back to my roots, focusing on shape design, exaggeration, and stylization. That’s when everything finally clicked.
Now I’m putting all of that into this course. I’ll teach you how to understand anatomy, simplify it, and then BEND and BREAK the rules to create expressive, stylized characters. 🤩
