Hi, I'm Anne Roos Smink,

I'm an alcohol ink artist based in the Netherlands. My journey with alcohol inks began in 2018, offering me a creative escape alongside my work in academia. What started as a stress reliever soon blossomed into a creative career, so you can call me a ‘scientist turned artist’. 

Creating abstract and floral art using the flow of alcohol inks is my passion, but even more so, I love to inspire others to find a creative outlet through the magic of alcohol inks. 

I love teaching and sharing what I know, and I’ve helped over 2000 creatives worldwide explore and improve their skills through my online courses. I know how overwhelming alcohol ink can feel at first, and I’m here to make the process approachable, playful and inspiring. Right now, I’m working on a new course, and would love to have you there!
