Hey, I'm Lain,
I am an artist based in Texas with many years of formal education and training in portraiture and life drawing, but much of my best work was created at home with limited supplies, little space, and a tight budget. I firmly believe that the most beautiful artwork comes from withinâyou donât need years of study or countless high-end materials to make that happen.
I create illustrated characters and stories that speak to people, making art that lets people know that they are seen. Iâm also very good at being relatable and inspiring to the average person who aspires to make great art but is struggling for whatever reason. I make my art styles and techniques âdoableâ and aspirational.
