I was born in 1982 in San Jose, California, and grew up in Texas, where my grandfather first taught me how to paint as a child. I am a self-taught painter and have lived and worked in New York City since 2004. Throughout my career, I've explored a variety of creative fields, from fashion and music to writing, before deciding to make fine art my primary focus in 2020.
Since 2020, I've been represented by Tappan Collective, where I've exhibited several bodies of work, primarily watercolor paintings exploring meditation, repetition, and the subconscious. More recently, my work has expanded into mysticism and the realms beyond. I've held three solo exhibitions in New York and participated in numerous group exhibitions across the country, showing at galleries including The Hole, Tripoli Gallery, Chandra Gallery, and Elliot Templeton Fine Arts, among others.
My work relies heavily on symbolism to explore themes such as meditation, obsessive-compulsive disorder, sexuality, mysticism, and addiction, among others.
