Hi, my name is Katie-Rose!

I am the maker behind K2 Clay! My work is a celebration of the human experience: the oddities, quirks, and moods that make us each a work of art. What started as a way to laugh at the ridiculousness of life through sculpted faces has grown into a full-blown obsession.

I’ve been sculpting faces out of anything I could get my hands on — from mashed potatoes to sand — since I was a child. I began my clay journey in 2017 under an incredible mentor and taught myself to wheel-throw during the 2020 pandemic.

Today, I balance life as a full-time nurse with a home studio crammed with pots, mugs, and plants. Based on a small farm in Washington, I am endlessly grateful for the space to create and for your support in letting me share these stories with you.

My upcoming course Losing and Finding Yourself in Clay, it's a beginner-friendly guide where I’ll walk you through everything you need to know to start your clay journey!
