Mastering ink with negative space
JOIN THE WAITING LIST!
I’m hard at work at my first comprehensive online art course; “Mastering in with Negative Space”, and I’m excited to open the waiting list for the course!
And to give you some incentive to sign up, there will be a SPECIAL DISCOUNT exclusively for those who join the waiting list. This is really important for us to be able to gage the interest. We’re still figuring out the details, but we’re aiming to give as good of a discount as we can to those on the list.
For the course itself, no prior art experience is required, and I’m trying to tailor the course to be as useful for both beginners and veterans. It’s not going be a tutorial on how to draw like Kim, but rather a framework of how I approach art that you can apply wherever you are in you art journey.
Click below to join the waiting list and be the first to get all the details about this exclusive offer.
I’ll share more as soon as I can! Thanks!

Hey, i'm @denungeherrholm
After years of working as a freelancer, doing comic books, illustration, album covers, and going to metal concerts and drawing bands live, in 2020 I found unexpected success on TikTok drawing Daily Ink Monsters. Since then I’ve gained over a million followers on TikTok and half a million on YouTube, and countless more have seen my viral ink videos.
In the metal genre I’ve worked with bands like Enslaved, 1349, Solstafir, Vreid, Abbath, Rotting Christ, and Primordial, drawn live at festivals all over the world, and held exhibitions and performances of dark art and music.
As an artist I’ve done everything from being a jack of all trades illustrator drawing local kindergarten mascots and birthday caricatures, to selling my own dark art to customers on every continent and having people wear my art as boots, T-shirts, and tattoos.
Ever since I started working professionally back in 2004, I’ve also held courses and classes, for everything from special needs children to fellow professional artists. This course will be the natural evolution of all that learning. I still live in my hometown of Bergen, Norway, with my wife and 2 kids. After 22 years professional, like so many, I’m still living month to month, trying to retain that balance of working on personal art and projects and doing exciting collaborations and projects with others.
I’m stoked to be starting on this new part of my own art journey, and hope you’ll follow along!
