Water Soluble Oils: Portraits
This section focuses on portrait painting, comparing acrylics and water-soluble oils while teaching how to mix soft, natural skin tones. Students learn to paint facial featuresāeyes, nose, mouth, and hairāas well as clothing details. The module emphasizes finishing touches and recognizing when a painting is complete. Exercises include mixing twelve skin tones and painting portraits, supported by downloadable skin tone references and analyses
MODULE 5
Beyond "What" and "How"
This section encourages artists to connect emotionally with their work by discovering their personal āWhyā and finding inspiration in love stories around them. It includes expressive projects like painting a pet and a floral bouquet. Students complete a questionnaire to explore their artistic purpose and use provided PDFs with guiding questions and a bouquet sketch to practice painting with intention and emotion.
