About Eudald de Juana

 

I'm a contemporary artist from Girona, where, surrounded by an artistic and natural environment , I learned the trade and developed a deep interest for art..

I studied Fine Arts and explored different artistic disciplines at the Barcelona University. I then moved to Florence to focus my training in Academic Sculpture and Drawing at the Florence Academy of Art, where I then became an instructor in sculpture and drawing. In 2018 I moved back to my hometown, Navata, to set up the Geode Art Space studio: a place of creation for me and other artists.

I mainly use the human form as a departing point for my ideas, as I consider it an excellent tool to express emotions and to explore psychology through the lens of figurative realism. For me, sculpture is a way of exploring what it means to be human. Through a figure we can tell stories and create something that goes beyond the physical form.

I’m genuinely thrilled to finally have the opportunity to further share my creative sphere with you and can’t wait to see where this journey takes us.
