'Ceramic Fairy Making: A Handbuilding course' is coming soon!

I'm making an online course on hand-building flower fairies in clay, filmed slowly in my studio so you can follow along in your own time and come back to any lesson as often as you need.

We start with the clay and tools I use, work through coiling and building the body, then the neck, arms, head, wings and face, and finish with the decoration, the line work, the little flowers, the marks that make each one her own.

I've been making these little fairies in clay for a while now, and people keep asking how they're made — so I'm filming it properly and teaching it the way I'd show a friend at my kitchen table.
