Learn to paint the fashion face with expression, colour, and a little beautiful chaos.

My upcoming course, Pencil, Pigment & Pixel: Drawing the Fashion Face, is for anyone who wants to loosen their line, fall in love with watercolour, and create fashion illustrations that feel alive.

I’ll walk you through my full process, from the first graphite sketch to a finished piece showing how I capture a figure, build colour, let paint bloom and drip, and add the details that give an illustration its mood.

The waiting list is now open. Sign up for a special early-bird discount and be the first to know when Pencil, Pigment & Pixel: Drawing the Fashion Face launches.

What will you learn?

The Architecture of a Face

Build any face from one proportion map: front, three-quarter and profilem then draw the features that bring it to life: eyes, brows, nose, lips and hair.

From Graphite to Pigment

Take a graphite sketch into colour: shading, water control, skin tones, layered washes and acrylic accents, without overworking it.

The Capstone and Beyond

Paint a full capstone piece from sketch to signature, then scan, edit and prep it to print, share and sell.

Hi, I am Jessica!

I’m a fashion and beauty illustrator based in Atlanta, with more than a decade of painting behind me. I work mainly in watercolour, gouache, acrylic and ink, and always chasing the moment paint blooms on wet paper.

Over the years I’ve painted for editorial pages and beauty houses, from Vogue Japan and Harper’s Bazaar Korea to Dior, Sephora, Ralph Lauren and Lancôme and taught hundreds of students to find their own hand.

For me, illustration isn’t about getting it perfect. It’s about feeling, learning to trust your line, let colour move, and make something that carries a little emotion.
