I’ve been drawing since I was a kid, obsessed with cartoons. Art was always my safe place, though life often pulled me away. I even studied Cartoon & Animation in university, but instead of inspiring me, it drained me. I lost my motivation, quit, and hit a dark place.
Years later, becoming a single mom brought art back into my life, this time as healing. Drawing for myself and my baby reminded me why I fell in love with it.
I let go of perfection, focused on what I loved, and found fun ways to grow, even with an ADHD brain that resists routine. Step by step, I improved without burning out.
