Hello Iām Julio Bencid, I've been drawing since I was 10. Since I was little, I loved creating striking and memorable characters. Character that resonate with an audience and bring extra life and their worlds. Iāve been working in the gaming industry for the past 5 years and work as a concept artist and character designer. Iām always looking to push my character designs to the next level and learn as much as I can along the way.
With this course I want to share my approach to a practical method in tackling character design, starting with basic fundamentals and progressing to the construction and finalizing with striking and memorable characters. It combines my industry experience with theory and practice, teaching to master the basics in design principles. The approach is simple and organized, allowing my students to develop skills at their own pace, exploring their creativity while learning and ultimately letting your imagination be expressed on the canvas.
