I work in oils, capturing my subjects with a soft, ethereal and evocative touch. My sensitivity to each of my subjects can be seen through my bold brush strokes. Painting the animals I love, from domestic to wild, each subject comes to life on a canvas.
With a fine art degree and a background as an animal keeper, I bring both a trained eye and a deep understanding of animals to my work, capturing the character and personality of each subject rather than simply its likeness. My loose, expressive approach is built on adjusting and refining as I go, and in this course I share that process step by step, so you can paint with more freedom and confidence.
