Hi, I'm Chey!
I’m a multiracial artist (African American, Native American, and White) living with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a bone disease that mainly affects my legs. I use a wheelchair but can still walk short distances. This journey has shaped my perspective and inspired much of the work I create.
I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember — my mom gave me crayons as a toddler to keep me busy, and that simple gift sparked my lifelong love for art. I enjoy working across many styles and mediums, from cartoons and anime to 3D modeling and animation. I’m comfortable using a variety of programs like Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Blender, Maya, Paint Tool Sai and Procreate.
My passion is telling stories through my art — stories that reflect my experiences and connect with others, especially people who live with disabilities. I love creating fantasy, sci-fi, horror, whimsical, and adventure worlds, and I also find joy in designing fashion inspired by nature, colors, and everyday life.
I believe art should be inclusive, welcoming, and free from judgment. I dream of blending Western cartoons and anime styles to create something fresh and exciting — a space where all art forms can thrive and be celebrated equally.
