COURSE CONTENT
The course is designed for English speakers. Since English and Russian are very different languages, I explain most concepts in English. This helps you understand the main ideas more easily and ensures a smoother transition to understanding and speaking Russian.
No previous knowledge of the language is required.
The beginner's course is designed for those who are starting from scratch, which is why it starts from the absolute basics. However, the course is also perfect for advanced beginners, as the difficulty of the lessons will gradually increase.
BASIC EXPRESSIONS AND GRAMMAR
Introduction to the basics of the Russian language and some important grammar aspects such as the cases or the use of prepositions in Russian. We will analyse basic grammatical structures that will enable you to understand increasingly complex topics.
DAILY LIFE EXPRESSIONS
I will provide you with skills to deal with everyday situations: you will be able to introduce yourself, how to tell the date and the age. You will also be able to say what you like as well as talking about your plans. These expressions will allow you to enjoy your experience abroad to the fullest!
ALPHABET AND TONES:
In addition to the basics, we'll go through some of the most difficult sound in Russian. You will also have some tips and tricks about reading and intonation as well. Sometimes, it is pronunciation that also makes a difference in understanding a dialogue. Building a solid foundation in pronunciation will be essential to help you master this language!
VOCABULARY:
Through the course you will enrich your vocabulary in lesson by lesson. Colours, family members, house and city vocabulary, months of the year, animals, food, seasons and much more. Through listening, lots of practice, and the exercises I have created for you, you will be able to manage the language and understand basic dialogues in Russian
