Hi! I’m Liz,
I am an expressive portrait artist and I've always been fascinated by faces. My style is constantly evolving and has progressively become more self reflective - though various models I use, the artwork is a representation of my state of mind.
I prefer to select a photo reference that best conveys my emotion at that time, and create a piece spontaneously, with more emphasis on getting the emotive content than focusing on an accurate representation of the face.
Therefore, the portraits are mostly female using various mediums, with the faces often portrayed with marks that are raw, intuitive and imperfect and the face at times, mask-like - a shield presented to the world.

I will show you how to create beautiful and professional scribble portraits in an easy way.
But this course goes beyond just acquiring technical skills. I will also show you how to create your own style that captures your audience's attention and effectively communicates the message you want to convey. You will learn to choose the right colors, references and position features effectively.
In addition, the course also includes practical activities and exercises to help you practice what you have learned and develop your skills gradually. I will also provide you with all the resources you need to support you on this journey from zero to becoming an expert!

MODULE 1&2
Getting started into the course. We will go over the basics of the course and the resources to work with and why/how to choose yours.
MODULE 3&4
The fundamentals to a great scribble portrait. We'll learn to create depth and shading using colored scribbles, and go over the basics of face and hair making.
MODULE 5&6
Time to practice! We will have 3 mini projects to master making portraits in different angles. At the end I will help you find your own scribble style.
MODULE 7&8
It's all about the details. We will see how to create skin texture and other accents. I'll teach you my secret to making the final touches really pull it all together.
