Born and raised in Hungary, I’ve been passionate about sharing my native language and culture with others. Since 2020, I’ve been teaching Hungarian online, starting part-time and quickly falling in love with the process.
The success of my students inspired me to fully dedicate myself to this journey. As of 2024, I’ve embraced teaching and content creation and tutoring full-time, with a mission to help you confidently master the Hungarian language while discovering its fascinating culture.

Course Content
The course is designed for English speakers. Because English and Hungarian are very different languages, I explain things in English for most of the course so that you can understand the main concepts more easily.
No previous knowledge of the language is required.
The beginner's course is designed for those who are starting from scratch, which is why it starts from the absolute basics. However, the course is also perfect for advanced beginners, as the difficulty of the lessons will gradually increase.
You will learn:
BASIC EXPRESSIONS AND GRAMMAR:
Learn each letter/sound and practice spelling.
Articles (definite/indefinite), numbers 1–100, and everyday foundational words. Verb “to be,” personal pronouns, vowel harmony, and negation.
DAILY LIFE EXPRESSIONS:
Learn to say your name, nationality, occupation, and how to ask/answer "How are you?". Learn regular verb conjugations, infinitives, and start expressing likes, hobbies, and abilities.
Describe family members, professions, and relationships using possessives.
DESCRIBING PEOPLE AND THINGS:
Learn adjectives, colors, opinions (szerintem), and how to talk about prices and quantities.
Practice using question words (who, what, where, how...).
VOCABULARY:
Talk about days, parts of the day, and schedule your week using time expressions.
Food vocab, express preferences, and practice the accusative case with transitive verbs.
Express past and future events, especially with the verb to be and possession.
