I’m a polymer clay artist and the creator behind mymomsorchid. I love turning little ideas and daydreams into whimsical characters and tangible things with my hand.

I got my start with a basic clay kit from my mom, and funnily enough, I still use those same plastic tools today, because you really don't need anything fancy to begin. Over the years, I've built a whole world of little characters, and I've learned that the hardest part was never the clay itself, it was knowing where to start, trusting my own ideas instead of leaning on someone else's, and actually following through once I did.

These days, I get a lot of the same questions from people just starting out, how to find a style that feels like their own, how to move past a blank block of clay without knowing where to begin, and how to actually finish what they start instead of losing momentum halfway through.
