I designed this course for art enthusiasts of all levels, from absolute beginners to people who have already tried working with resin. You’ll learn how to mix, pour, and decorate with resin to create stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces.
Hi, I'm Polina,
I'm a self taught resin artist. My resin work is inspired by nature. I like to focus on water and rain, as well as aquatic life, koi fish, amphibians, etc. My resin journey has been ups and downs and as someone who has made a lot of mistakes along the way, I want to share my tips and techniques so that you wouldn't have to make my mistakes and spend years trying to figure out how to properly work with resin.
Many resin artists focus on pouring resin into molds or creating gorgeous ocean pieces with resin, but not me. I will teach you about some water dynamics and how to mimic water surface as you shape resin.
As a teacher I believe that it is necessary to experiment in order to learn new skills. My teaching method focuses on hands on experimenting approach as well as my step by step guidance. Throughout the course we will create at three art pieces together as I walk you through making water out of resin.

Preparation
You will know how to prepare various surfaces and materials for resin art, including mixing techniques and surface priming.
Design
Develop skills to create designs like koi ponds and seasonal themes, mastering techniques for shaping, color layering, and adding detailed elements.
Finishing
Learn to apply protective coatings, fix unexpected issues, and create polished, finished pieces that showcase your unique style.
Course Content
The course has 7 modules for 4+ hours of learning and practicing. It also includes full-length artwork tutorials! You can pause and replay the videos as much as you want. The course is suitable for everyone, teens, adults and children because there is no explicit content. It would be best to take the course in order, because it will start from the basics to lessons at a more advanced level.

IN MY COURSE YOU WILL LEARN:
MODULE 1 & 2
Getting Started & Preparing the Groundwork
In the first module, you’ll get an introduction to resin art, covering essential topics such as safety, resin types, and materials. You’ll learn the basics of mixing, pouring, and curing resin while also discovering techniques for maintaining your tools. Moving into the second module, you’ll start preparing your surfaces, including mirrors and frames, and begin creating koi fish and color designs that will form the base of your project.
MODULE 3 & 4
Pouring and Shaping the Resin & UV Resin Details
In Module 3, you’ll explore techniques for pouring resin to create a realistic koi pond, focusing on water dynamics and ripple effects. Module 4 takes you into UV resin details, where you’ll learn to add intricate elements like droplets, splashes, bubbles, and water bumps to bring your koi pond to life.
MODULE 5 & 6
Finish Ups & Spring/Splash
In Module 5, you’ll add the final touches to your koi pond, such as removing hot glue, adding droplets, and applying a protective coating layer. Module 6 introduces the “Blossoms Splash” design, where you’ll prepare the mirror and shape the resin to create a spring-inspired piece with detailed droplets and a glossy finish.
MODULE 7
Autumn Beauty
The final module brings a seasonal theme with the “Autumn Beauty” design. You’ll prepare the mirror, pour and shape resin, paint leaves, and add UV resin decorations to capture the colors and textures of fall, finishing with a protective resin coating for a polished look.

Fundamentals & Materials
We will look together at the materials, basic techniques, and knowledge needed to begin this journey. Approaching a new technique means first learning how best to use the tools at your disposal.
Practical exercises
Theory is important, but what makes you a true artist is practice... Lots of practice! You'll find lots of exercises to get started with and from which to get inspiration. I will show you some tricks that will make your drawings truly unique and masterpieces.
