Hello! I'm Sara.
I'm an illustrator, artist and picture book maker who lives in the rural Scottish Borders. Itās a beautiful place to be and offers lots of inspiration.
I make my art using a variety of media (because why choose one?) but my favourite will always be pencils. My personal work is heavily influenced by nature and the environment, and although Iāve illustrated books on a range of subjects, Iād love that to be my focus.Ā Someone once described my style as ācontemporary nostalgiaā, which I like very much.
I would be delighted to have you in my very first online course. I will support you through approaching hand drawn illustrationĀ at your own pace: we will experiment, practise and enjoy the journey of discovering your own art style :)
