From a busy corporate career in the fashion industry to launching my own magazine and now dedicating myself fully to my art, I’ve gone from working 24/7 to living 'la dolce vita' here in Florence.
My goal is to share the Tuscany I love—and help you take home a little piece of 'This Tuscan Life' through watercolour and creativity.

Then, expand your confidence with color theory — from building a color wheel and tonal charts to mixing warm and cool hues. By the end, you’ll understand how water, pigment, and color relationships work together to bring life and harmony to your art.

From Loose Expression to Realistic Studies
Put your skills into practice with two contrasting projects. First, explore the joy of loose painting through playful watermelons and florals, capturing freshness and movement with expressive brushstrokes. Then, shift to a more structured approach as you learn tracing and transferring techniques, applying them to a realistic tomato painting that sharpens your observation and detail work.
Module 7 & 8
Bringing It All Together
Balance realism and landscape painting in your final projects. Begin with a detailed poppy study, layering techniques for depth and vibrancy. Then, immerse yourself in a Tuscan-inspired landscape, building composition, layering washes, and refining details across multiple stages. These capstone projects combine everything you’ve learned, leaving you with the confidence to create expressive, polished watercolor art.
