Your phone is full of photos from your travels that you never look at. But there is a different way to travel: one where you don’t just "capture" a scene, you translate it through your own hand.

The Art of Seeing: Capturing Your Travels in Sketch is a comprehensive technical masterclass in urban and nature sketching. It’s an 8-hour deep dive into the mechanics of ink and watercolor, designed to help you render the world with precision and soul.

Turn your travels into a sketchbook you’ll actually cherish – not just a gallery you’ll scroll past.

Hi, I'm Tiani!

I’m a watercolour artist from Perth, Western Australia, who loves to travel. I am constantly inspired by the beautiful world around me and my favourite way to take it all in is through sketching.

For me, the best souvenir isn’t a photo on a phone. It’s the memory of the time you spent truly seeing a place. Whether it’s the way moss clings to an ancient stone wall or how the midday sun hits a terracotta roof, I believe in the power of "slow travel."

I created The Art of Seeing to help you trade the "point-and-click" habit for a deeper connection to your surroundings. My mission is to give you the technical confidence you need. From mastering line work to the magic of watercolour layering. You'll turn any scene into a vibrant, hand-drawn masterpiece.
