Hi, I’m Veljko,

present on social media as @vmdrawz. I’m a digital artist who’s been creating portraits for a little over five years. I’ve loved drawing since I was a kid, and even though I’ve taken a few online art classes, most of what I know is self-taught. Right now I’m also studying graphic design, which adds a lot of new ideas to my work.

I mostly work digitally, but I still play around with traditional art when I can. My portraits blend stylization and semi-realism, with magical touch, and surreal details that bring each piece to life. I like leaving some brushstrokes visible and not over-painting every detail so the picture feels alive and a bit dreamy. I even go back and repaint older pieces sometimes just to see how much my style has grown.

I see portraits not just as images, but as little universes - each face carrying its own story and soul.

Inspiration for me comes from many places - moments from everyday life, other artists, music, and film. I enjoy blending these influences into fantasy elements that add a bit of magic and charm to ordinary life.

Currently I am building a selfpaced course to guide you through the basics of digital portraits, while showing you how to make your art unique and stand out in the age of AI. I’ve poured years of practice into this course, because I know how much I would have loved something like this when I was starting out, it would have made the growth process so much faster.
